The Attack Fire has a slim fit. In fact, it’s so figure-hugging that, even though it’s designed to function best close to the body (as with all baselayers), we’d recommend you consider sizing up. The ‘TruDri’ fabric wicks well, moving moisture away from the skin to keep you warm and prevent chills. While the seamless knit construction incorporates compression zones that are intended to support your muscles, we didn’t notice much of a difference. The baselayer is very comfortable though, both beneath jerseys on milder winter days and under more insulating midlayers on frosty rides. It has the additional advantages of both washing well and drying quickly – while merino wool doesn’t always dry overnight, the synthetic fibres used here do, even surviving bad laundry practice. http://uk.foxracing.com
