Dhb Merino Long Sleeve £40

This dhb baselayer has a classic slim fit. Being made from pure mid-weight (200gsm) merino, we found it plenty warm enough to wear on its own under a softshell jacket on cold days. The quality feels exceptionally high for the reasonable cost, and it’s good to see detailing usually found on more expensive tops, such as a printed neck label (although it does have a side label too). There isn’t as much stretch in the fabric as with some others here, which emphasises the close fit and means it isn’t quite so forgiving after that extra coffee-stop cake, but it keeps its shape well, even after washing. The body has a tendency to ride up, but because it’s plenty long enough, this wasn’t an issue.
