Just looking at something called an ‘engineered’ baselayer makes you feel like you should be riding hard and fast – and on the bike, this proves to be the case. The fit is skintight and the seamless, variableknit body features a mesh panel down the back, which is so open it looks like fishnet. This means that when you hit race pace it really does dissipate heat exceptionally well. Construction quality is high, with a printed neck label plus composition detail in the hem, rather than on a label. We love the comfort and efficiency of this top – in our experience, it isn’t so much a baselayer to keep you warm as one to stop you getting sweatily damp when working hard.
