Get out there and enjoy it while it lasts –or you’ ll spend all winter cur sing the fact that you didn’ t ride dry and dusty trails when you had the chance!

Welcome to our 2019 bumper issue. You’ll find not just one but three special treats inside the box – not that a new issue of MBUK isn’t a treat in itself, of course! This year’s Trail Centre Guide is our biggest and most comprehensive ever; Jo Burt has picked some of his favourite Mint Sauce adventures for our celebratory supplement; and we’ve designed two great stem caps – hope you get the one you want! In order to bring you all this, we’ve bumped the price up for just this one issue (although we’ve made sure there’s no extra cost for subscribers), but rest assured it’ll be back to normal next month.

By the time you read this, the rain of June should hopefully be but a distant memory as you enjoy the sunny skies and dusty trails of July. While it’s tempting to just take it easy, the long days and good weather make this the perfect time to work on your skills. Few of us will ever be anywhere near as good on a bike as this month’s cover star, Brendan Fairclough. But if you’ve got the basics dialled and are looking to step up your skills and ‘add some rad’, then he’s got some great advice for you in our How To section.

So get out there and enjoy it while it lasts – or you’ll spend all winter wringing water from your riding socks and cursing the fact that you didn’t ride dry and dusty trails when you had the chance!
