Mountain Biking UK

Set on a farm in the idyllic Brecon Beacons National Park, there’s no place better than the BMCC for catching air. The landowners have pretty much given trail builder Sean Bevan free rein, and he’s let his imagination run wild to create interlinking lines of pristine jumps and corners. Chug up the hill on the tractor uplift (£38 a day, at weekends), take a minute to breathe in the stunning views and choose your way back down – whether that be via mellow turns or lines of jumps measuring upwards of 30ft. Confident jumpers will love it, while if you’re more of a newbie, you’re sure to leave with new skills.

the trails RABBIT RUN 0.8km

This gentle introduction to the BMCC style weaves its way down with plenty of rollers and optional gaps. Link it into Well-Oiled Weasel for a top-to-bottom flow-fest.

mOTO 1km

Zipping around berms and launching o tabletops, Moto is the park’s most popular trail – and the perfect warm-up for its big brother, Full Moto!

TIDY DARTS 0.3km

These steep-lipped tabletops will project you high into the sky. The line’s short length makes it the perfect place for a trick session with your mates.

BOMPER 0.8km

The newest trail in the park weaves its way through the midst of everything else and combines all that’s great about the riding here, with steep, interlinking berms, step-ups and hips aplenty.

FULL MOTO 0.4km

This is what you came here for! A flat-out run of big tabletop jumps, culminating in big step-downs and step-ups. It’s arguably the best (and certainly the most-loved) jump line in the UK, but it’s not for the faint-hearted. Expert level skills are required to make it through in one piece!
