KMC Tools are fully compatible with all bicycle chains. For example, the KMC Chain De-Riveter is compatible with all chains from singlespeed up to 12-speed. Its lightweight brother, the Mini Chain Tool, weighs only 25g and is compatible with all derailleur chains, plus it handily fits perfectly in any saddle bag.

Almost all boxed KMC chains come with a MissingLink, the installation for which is simple, and a secure lock is always guaranteed. With the KMC Chain De-Riveter, each chain can be shortened to the correct length. For closing and opening the MissingLink, KMC’s pliers, the MissingLink Connector Tool and MissingLink Removing Tool, are designed to easily open and close your chain without damaging it.
