Specialized Trail pants £110
Specialized have arguably led the way when it comes to riding trousers, with their Demo pants being some of the best trail/enduro/DH numbers going when they launched a few years back. But we think the latest Trail pants are even better. They come in six sizes, and you can adjust the waist using the ratchet buckle closure. The VaporRize fabric is waterrepellent and has plenty of give to ensure the Trail pants are comfy to move around in and don’t drop down when you’re seated on the bike. There are perforations up the thigh to help dump heat on warmer days, too. Three zipped pockets offer ample storage. Where the Trail pants really shine is the exemplary cut and fit. The heavily-tapered legs avoid excess material, and elasticated ankle cuffs help keep them in place, although they do make getting them on and off trickier. This is a price worth paying for how well the Trail pants fit and perform. Rob www.specialized.com
