ODYSSEY ACTIVE WEAR PERFORMANCE JERSEY
£39.99 British cottage-industry clobber
This new brand began life as a lockdown project for designer Chris Spooner, who wanted to create the kind of outdoors clothing he’d like to wear – neither as dull as most walking gear, nor as lurid and logo-plastered as a lot of bike kit. It’s now snowballed into a family business, based in the MTB hotspot of Sheffield. Odyssey sell long-sleeve jerseys and short-sleeve tech tees in a range of patterns, at a very competitive price. This one is from their Triangulation series, available in grey, blue or orange (which fades to a dark brown; the purplish tinge in our photo is a trick of the light). All are constructed from a lightweight, breathable, sweat-wicking and quick-drying mesh material, with raglan sleeves for maximum freedom of movement on the bike.
