ROB WARNER

OUR HARD PARTYING, LOVABLE ROGUE!

-

It was rare for a UK rider to even make the top 10 at a World Cup DH race until Warner won in Kaprun, Austria in ’96. Coming from motorcycle trials, he kept the badboy reputation he’d earned there when he switched to MTB. Racing for Giant for most of his career (after a year on Team MBUK), Rob made four out of the six World Cup podiums in ’97 and was UK national champ in ’97, ’98 and 2001, before heavy partying took its toll. He eventually found his current role as the voice of Red Bull’s World Cup coverage, and is riding more than ever, as well as documenting his exploits on YouTube.
