KELLY MCGARRY

The friendliest Kiwi to ever throw a leg over a mountain bike, ‘McGazza’ became an instant fan favourite when he hit the scene in the late 2000s, with his huge smile and flowing locks. Moving to MTB from BMX, he competed at the X Games and Crankworx, and had his biggest success at Red Bull Rampage in 2013, where he backflipped the canyon gap to win Best Trick and place second. We sadly lost Kelly in 2016 when he suffered a cardiac arrest while riding, aged 33. He lives on through the annual McGazza Fest and the Kelly McGarry Foundation.
