JCW’S WHYTE E-160 S V1 £5,200

-

On a recent trip to BikePark Wales, Jimmer whipped out his phone and started filming me as I was riding a drop. I’m sure he was just hoping to catch a crash on camera, but it was really helpful, because the footage showed up some holes in my technique – weight a bit far back, heels not dipped enough – and also just how readily the bike was using its travel. The set-up changes I made a couple of months back (lowering the fork pressure and removing a couple of volume spacers) worked well for damper trails and slower speeds, but now that the ground is hardpacked and bike parks are open again, I think I need to put one of those spacers back in and maybe firm up the rear end slightly, too. https://whyte.bike
