There is, unsurprisingly, nothing on the route, but the friendly Tafarn Dwynant pub in Ceinws, close to the start/ finish, is the place to go. With real ale, live music and good food, it’s a great place to chill out after a ride. Call ahead to check that they’re doing food, though (01654 761660). There are several other good eateries, such as restaurants, pubs and cafes, back down the road in Machynlleth, as well as a mini supermarket and a chippy if you want something to take away. www.tafarndwynant.co.uk
