LEATT MTB 2.0 WINDBLOCK GLOVES

These WindBlock gloves do what their name suggests, with a windproof upper that stops chilly air. They’re as svelte as summer gloves, but usable in singlefigure temperatures. The thin material has coped well with scratchy bushes and keeps splashes at bay, but isn’t designed to keep your hands dry. Bar feel is excellent, thanks to the unpadded palm. There’s a small snot-wipe pad, too. The elasticated cuff is long enough to fit under jacket sleeves, but can make it a struggle to pull the gloves on if you’ve got clammy hands. With a skinny cut and fingers that aren’t that generous in diameter, we’d recommend sizing up if you like the look of the these gloves and fall between sizes. There’s also a thick seam between the cuticle and first knuckle, which all our testers noticed. Some found it irritating, which knocks the score down. Tom
