“Blasting down the hill between big rhododendron bushes was pretty cool, quite di erent from the usual pine forests you might find yourself in at other trail centres. Margam is set on a relatively small hill, with a definite old-school feel to the trails. Some feel really raw, rocky and natural, while others are very obviously manmade, surfaced and with small berms. Oh, and the view out across the sea and the Gower Peninsula isn’t exactly rubbish, either! The signposting definitely needs work, but we had a really fun time messing about there, and I did feel like I was transported back in time to the early days of modern trail centres.”
