Leatt’s new Enduro 3.0 pants come in seven sizes and have long Velcro adjustment tabs at the sides of the waist, so there should be a pair to fit pretty much every rider. We like the cut and the stretchy polyester material, which make them really comfy to pedal in. The legs taper nicely towards the ankle and are close-fitting enough around the shin to prevent any flapping around when caked in mud. There’s plenty of room for knee pads underneath, too. The deep waistband gives a very comfortable fit once the pants are securely fastened using the double-popper and fly closure. Leatt have added perforations around the waist and on the inner thigh, at the front and back, to help prevent overheating. Alongside the pre-curved leg shaping, the waterproof panel through the seat and back of the pants is a nice riderfriendly touch and helps bolster the Enduro 3.0s’ do-it-all credentials. That said, the heavily-perforated section that sits just above this and below the waistband does diminish the benefits of the waterproofing somewhat. There are no fewer than five zipped pockets, which seems a little excessive. We found the two pockets located higher up on the hips almost too high – stashing a bulky van key in one of these (which is where Leatt recommend you put them; one even contains a key loop) caused discomfort when climbing, due to it digging into our leg on every pedal stroke. Thankfully, the cargo pockets lower down the thigh are small and tight enough that the contents don’t shift around while riding. The phone pocket on the rear waistband is well-positioned and just about big enough, so stashing a mobile in there doesn’t noticeably affect riding comfort.
