Highly-rated German brand’s bikes now available to view and demo in the UK

We’ve been seriously impressed by Propain’s latest bikes. In fact, their Hugene trail bike even won our 2020 Bike of the Year test with its killer mix of great handling and incredible value for money. But let’s be honest, buying direct can be a pain. Demo rides aren’t always an option, clicking buttons on a website isn’t the same as seeing a bike in the ‘flesh’ and speaking to someone face to face, and after-sales support can be an issue. So, it’s great news that the German brand have opened their first UK showroom.

All of Propain’s current range is on display in the huge 4,000ft2 facility, and (bookable) demo bikes are available, which span the whole line-up. Located in Crawley, near Gatwick Airport, the showroom is easy to get to for lots of riders, and there are some great local spots where you can try out the brand’s bikes, including the trail-packed Surrey Hills, just a half-hour drive away.

All UK customer inquiries are now answered here, too, including warranty claims, giving extra peace of mind. Buying from Europe has become more complicated in recent years, so showroom staff are on hand to help clear up any customs queries or other questions, and make the whole process as straightforward as possible.

Propain are working towards more purchase options for customers in the UK, too, and hope to have these in place for the new year. They’re also looking forward to attending more events across the country, and will have more local demo days and in-store events in the coming months.
