PUSHING FORWARD
HAVING LED THE WAY WITH THEIR PIONEERING FORWARD GEOMETRY, MONDRAKER CONTINUE TO INNOVATE
Mondraker kickstarted the ‘long, low and slack’ revolution back in 2011 with their Forward Geometry, which pairs a longer frame reach with a short stem to give more stability and confidence in all situations. The Spanish brand were also among the first to experiment with super-slack head angles for downhill racing. That heritage of innovation continues today.
New horizons
Since celebrating their 20th birthday as a brand in 2020, Mondraker have moved to amazing new offices in Alicante, where they design, test and assemble nearly all their bikes. They’ve also switched to a direct-todealer sales model in the UK, which means better value-for-money for customers. Plus, you can now buy small parts, soft goods and spares straight from the brand’s website, to get you back on your bike faster.
New technologies
With Forward Geometry, Mondraker pioneered MTB geometry as we know it today, and their twin-link
Zero Suspension system and Stealth frame construction are also highly regarded. The brand continue to push riding boundaries with highperformance e-MTBs, such as the Crafty Carbon – with its latestgeneration Bosch motor, top tube display and wireless mini remote – plus much-loved ‘muscle bikes’, including the 150mm-travel Foxy and the new 130mm Raze, launched last year in carbon fibre and now available in alloy, too.
Taking things a step further, all carbon Crafty, Foxy and Raze models are compatible with Mondraker’s MIND system. This cutting-edge smart telemetry set-up lets you record and analyse suspension performance to get your bike’s fork and shock working at their best. It’s not all about high-tech solutions, though – the brand are also working towards greater sustainability and have designed their own 100 per cent recyclable packaging, made from cardboard and paper.
New successes
It’s this kind of attention to detail, big and small, that’s helped Mondraker’s team riders rack up countless international podiums, in both cross-country – with PMG Racing star Bec McConnell winning no fewer than four World Cups last year (three XCO, one XCC) – and downhill, where they’re represented by
the hard-charging MS Mondraker Team. A brand who are passionate about the sport and racing, they work hard to deliver the best possible bikes without compromise. To achieve this, they partner with some of the best in the business, from world champion racers to feted bike designers and, most recently, Californian style-mongers Troy Lee Designs, on an exclusive bikewear collaboration.
