Lantern run raises $4500 for leukaemia
LIGHT the Night 2015 took place at Mt Buller on Saturday, July 18 in a bid to raise money and awareness for the Leukaemia Foundation.
More than $4500 was raised through donations and the sale of the lanterns, with close to 300 people partaking in the annual event.
Participants included skiers and snowboarders, CFA and police volunteers, Barry the Pygmy Possum and a giant Yeti, all carrying lanterns down Bourke Street in an effort to support the event.
