Bowser Bean Café – on the way to Buller
KEEPING up with market trends for local businesses can sometimes be tricky – but not so for BP’s Bowser Bean Café on Mt Buller Road.
“It’s a change of concept from just being a servo to a family/ customer friendly café style food and beverage outlet,” said manager Dean Khoo.
Mansfield’s BP Service Station has gone through its initial new branding phase and is now known as ‘Bowser Bean Café’ – still under the link of Vantage Fuels.
“We want it known to be a friendly ‘come and sit in’ café but with the advantages of fuel, chain hire and of course the ‘grab and go’ foods.
“The grab and go offers a wider range of foods such as salads and sandwiches along with a huge variety of hot foods and of course you can order ‘off the menu’ dinners and snacks,” Dean said.
On the way to and from the snow fields this winter Bowser Bean Café will be open from 6.30am with closing times for Monday through Thursday at 9pm and weekends until midnight.
“We are still offering the same friendly staff, smiles and service as before – but have gone that little bit upmarket from previously,” Dean said.
“Out sit-in dining area has been updated with couches, a new heater and a big television to watch (catch up on the footy scores) while taking that break from driving.”
Bowser Bean Café Mansfield is just one of many such BP outlets across the state undergoing rebranding – see the wall inside the café for all locations.
And, when stopping off along the way to Buller or Stirling watch for further improvements to the driveway service – coming soon.
