Race club sets events for 2018

Mt Buller News - - FRONT PAGE -

THE Mt Buller Race and Events Department has a long tradition of hosting successful events and training sessions.

The Mt Buller Race Club offers a range of services to schools, clubs and organisations and can tailor a package to meet individual needs.

Race training is an exciting way to introduce skiers and snowboarders to racing techniques.

Participants cover a range of activities with experienced coaches including practice through a race course, mental preparation hints, technical drills, start training, finish line crossing tips, and explanations of basic race rules.

Mt Buller also offers schools and clubs the opportunity to host events or time trials.

Time trials are a great opportunity to assist your school in the selection of students in the lead up to the Victorian Interschool competitions.

Groups and clubs may wish to set up a fun timed event which carry all services such as race bibs, start checks, results both in hard copy and on line and courses set by qualified coaches.

Race options include courses and locations suited to skiers and boarders and the number of competitors for each event.

Two main events on the calendar for the Race Club include the Karbon Buller Cup GS on July 15 and the Land Rover King of the Mountain Race 1 PSL on July 22.
