Mt Buller real estate roundup
MT BULLER is now the Australian market leader in Alpine sales that are sold “off the plan”.
Whitehorse Village has recorded a staggering 15 sales from $1,500,000 to $2,780,000 over the last eight months.
There is now only one Whitehorse 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom with garage, ski in ski out chalet left, which is ready for immediate sale and occupation at $1,550,000.
The recently completed block number 5 comprises three 6-star chalets, each of which are fitted out to a level unheard of in Alpine Australia.
These chalets, which are also 3 bed, 2.5 bathrooms plus garage, will rent in the order of $2500 - $3500 per week.
The great news continues for “off the plan” sales for Mt Buller, with Kooroora now reporting the entire top floor and all of level 1 being spoken for, with only 5 apartments remaining between levels 2 and 3.
That is 75 per cent of Kooroora sold in 12 days.
The separate car parks, which are for sale within Kooroora, have also had a run on and have been selling very quickly at $100,000 per space.
Many owners of other real estate on the mountain are picking these car parks up so they can have access to the mountain during winter time – an absolute must if you don’t want to go on the over snow transport. LEGEND REBORN: Set in the heart of the Buller Village Square, Kooroora is a collection of 21 boutique residences which connect the rich history of Mt Buller with renewed life.
It is interesting – the buyers in Kooroora and Whitehorse are all individuals/families that have been associated with Mt Buller for years.
Many of our purchasers have been taking the opportunity of upgrading their accommodation on the mountain to suit the changing needs of their families.
In fact, we have grandparents upgrading their properties so as to provide for grandchildren, as skiing is one of those family sports that everyone can still do together.
In John Castran’s 35 years of selling Alpine real estate, there has never been such a feeding frenzy for AAA located properties – no wonder, Mt Buller is only three hours from Melbourne.
