Properties are moving within all alpine resorts
MT Hotham, Falls Creek and Dinner Plain are set for season 2014.
The Alpine Real Estate market is showing growth since the Global Financial Crisis of 2007.
In fact, sales of the major resorts including Mt Buller are showing strong transactions in the $250,000-$550,000 price bracket.
The properties offered for sale are extremely affordable and represent very substantial assets.
For example, $500,000 purchases 2 and 3 bedroom apartments or cabins in fantastic locations within the resorts.
We are still finding 60 per cent of the sales are to families involved in race club.
Some 80 per cent of the Alpine sales in the Victorian resorts are to Victorians with the balance divided between Western Australia, Sydney, Queensland and Adelaide.
Dinner Plain has led the sales volume in the resorts for the past 12 months for the simple reason the real estate product is both excellent in design and price.
Visitation to Dinner Plain in the summer months has grown exponentially as has the visitation to Falls Creek and Mt Buller during these months.
