Police hunt thieves
POLICE believe the same person or persons were behind three attempted burglaries on Myrtleford businesses at the weekend.
The Standish Street Surgery, Myrtleford Bowling Club and another unnamed business were all targeted.
Myrtleford police Leading Senior Constable Anthony Short believes they were looking for cash.
“The person or persons have only gained access to the surgery but nothing was taken,” he said.
“In the other two cases they have simply damaged property in an attempt to force their way into the premises.
“Police are investigating and a number of items have been seized for forensic testing.”
