Myrtleford Times - - News -

POLICE are calling for information in relation to a road rage incident in Rosewhite and a hit and run in Milawa.

On Sunday a 21 year-old man was allegedly assaulted by another driver on Carroll’s Road at about 6.30pm.

The two men had a dispute after the 56 year-old Bright man ran into the rear of the victim’s car.

The man suffered a swollen face, bleeding and closed eye after he was allegedly punched.

Leading Senior Constable Luke Millar of Yackandandah police said the Bright man was charged with intentionally causing serious injury and has been bailed to appear in court on July 10.

Police also hope there were witnesses to a hit and run in Milawa on Monday morning.

A green SUV towing a rusty trailer with a cage is thought to have run into the back of a school bus when it stopped to turn left into Milawa Bobinawarrah Road from Oxley Flats Road at about 8.40am.

No one was injured in the incident with the damage to the bus consisting of a cracked rear bumper.

Anyone with information can contact Myrtleford police on 5752 1003.
