Another highlight of the game was a matchup between two of Myrtleford’s brightest junior sportsman Ryley Bouker and Fletcher Caponecchia.

Bouker played mostly in defence for Marian College and along with Nick Martig- nango provided some solid rebound.

Marian College sports coordinator Davina Perkins said it was a great initiative by students from both schools to bring back the match.

“I think it’s a nice way to end the term and is something that I’m sure might stay on the program for at least a few years,” she said.

In the inaugural netball clash, Marian College ran out 25-10 winners with Sophie Cappellari leading her school to victory with a best on court performance. ATTACKING PLAY: Declan Bren was dominant for the P12 with his drive while (inset) teammate Jack Woodall tracks down a loose ball.

CLOSE ATTENTION: Ryley Bouker is tackled by Fletcher Caponecchia.
