READY TO PLANT:

Myrtleford Times - - News -

A bit of community co-operation has gained Mt Beauty Secondary College a ‘VegTrug’, which is a sturdy raised wooden garden bed. Lab technician Sharon Lidden applied to School Gardens Victoria and was awarded around $1000 for the VegTrug plus additional garden equipment, which was supplied by garden designers Takasho. The North East Home Improvement Centre in Mt Beauty then chipped in with a metre of garden soil to get things going. The VegTrug will be used by the Food Technology students to grow vegetables and herbs to support their cookery program. All set to get gardening are (rear) Brad Wilson of Takasho and MBSC’s Sharon Lidden; (front) students Heath Niedzwiedzki and Josh Angelini, and Nick Pozzan of North East Home Improvements.
