Cosmo Rizzato

Myrtleford Times - - News -

What is your job?

I have just begun working for myself as an electrician under the new business name C. Rizzato Electrical.

How did that come about? After a good turn of events for my boss we had a bit of a restructure of the business side of things with him stepping back and me stepping up.

Are you excited? I am very excited about the opportunity to step out of my comfort zone whilst continuing to work in such a good area.

How long have you been an electrician?

I started off as a school based apprentice when I was 15 for Rickie Barnes, and I stayed with him throughout my apprenticeship and for a few years after that.

How long have you lived in Myrtleford?

I’ve been a local here for 23 years.

What do you love about living in the area?

I love how Myrtleford has so much to offer with Alpine bush land for camping plus the friendly environment around town.

What do you like doing in your spare time?

In my spare time I’m usually working on my house. If I’m not doing that I enjoy camping, shooting and hanging out with my dog Todd.

If you could get anyone to visit Myrtleford who would it

be and what would you show them?

Off the top of my head I would pick someone who set foot through Myrtleford 50 years ago so that I could show them how much the town has changed.

What is your choice of beer? Great Northern on tap.
