Ladies’ night out for a good cause
A FUNDRAISER with a difference will be held at The Hotel Nicholas, Beechworth on Thursday, November 29 for Sarah Waters.
The mother-of-three was diagnosed with a brain tumour earlier this year and was told it was inoperable.
Ms Waters contacted famed neurosurgeon Charlie Teo who said the surgery was possible but it came with a $100,000 price tag.
Since then friends of Ms Waters and the Beechworth community have been organising a variety of fundraisers to raise money for the family to go towards the surgery.
The latest event is a Girls Night Out at The Hotel Nicholas next Thursday, November 29 featuring the all male review ‘Raw Muscle’.
“This will be a fun night out and be contributing to a worthy cause,” Lorraine Lucas said.
“There will also be raffles with great prizes generously donated by local businesses.”
The show starts at 8pm but dinner will be available from 6pm to 7.30pm for those who really want to make a night of it.
Book your tickets at Hotel Nicholas (phone 5728 1051 or email [email protected]nicholas.com. au) to avoid disappointment; $30 for general admission, $40 for a silver pass, and gold class for $50, or $40 general admission if you pay at the door.
Get a group together to have a great night out and help a wonderful local family at the same time.
