DED­ERANG has won for the first time since oc­to­ber 20.The De­mons’ seven-wicket win over Eskdale ended their six-game win­less run in the CAW district com­pe­ti­tion.Bowl­ing first, Ded­erang had few prob­lems run­ning through Eskdale’s line-up with Jamie Baude (31) and Shaun Baude (36) the only bats­men to pass nine for the home team.Jesse Mar­cuzzi (3/16) con­tin­ued his wicket tak­ing form with the first three scalps be­fore Eskdale found them­selves in fur­ther trou­ble at 5/37.The 42-run part­ner­ship by the Baudes helped Eskdale avoid to­tal disas­ter but Lachy Lewin (2/6), An­drew Dishot (2/22) and An­drew Cre­mer (1/17 and two run-outs) lim­ited the score to 122.In re­ply Creamer notched his fourth half cen­tury with his un­beaten 60 help­ing him to pass 450 runs for the sea­son.Har­ri­son Kitching also made 24 and An­drew Mann 15 as the De­mons cruised to vic­tory just three wick­ets down.Ded­erang also picked up wins in sec­ond grade and C grade.They de­feated Eskdale in sec­ond grade reach­ing the tar­get of 144 in the fi­nal over with Steve Ga­roni topped the run chase with 48.Bart Ga­roni col­lected 3/30 off eight overs in the first in­nings.Ded­erang held off ri­vals Mt Beauty in C grade, de­fend­ing their score of 130.Pa­trick McMa­hon made 43 and Kade Innes 36 while for Mt Beauty Steve Wil­son com­plied 40 as the Power fell for 127.
