Planned burn near Porepunkah

FOREST Fire Management Victoria (FFMVic) crews will look to continue planned burns in the North East this week, weather permitting.

More than 49 planned burns totalling almost 42,000 hectares have so far been carried out in the region during autumn, aiming to reduce bushfire risk to communities and the environment.

Burns have recently been carried out around Myrtleford, Mudgegonga and Rosewhite, and a burn near Porepunkah is among those planned for this week.
