Num­bers were up for a to­tal yard­ing of 1594 mixed-qual­ity cat­tle.

The yard­ing was dom­i­nated by young cat­tle with well-bred cat­tle in de­mand.

Light­weight steers sold to a top of 336c/kg. Prime cows eased 3c/kg with the top price of 224c/kg, while store cows lifted, sell­ing to a top of 187c/kg.

Heavy year­ling steers made from 278c to 286c/kg, while medium weights sold for 294c to 310c/kg and lightweights from 290c to 308c/kg.

Year­ling heifers eased to 160c to 276c/kg to av­er­age 250c/kg.

Grown steers weigh­ing 500600kg sold from 250c to 256c/kg.

Bul­locks over 750kg sold from 196c to 234c/kg to av­er­age 209c/kg.

Prime heavy bulls gained 20c/ kg, sell­ing for 180c to 210c/kg.

Medium weights made 158c to 186c/kg, de­pend­ing on qual­ity, while light­weight bulls sold to live ex­port for 238c to 298c/kg.
