Nyabing CWA marks 85 years

The Coun­try Women’s As­so­ci­a­tion is the heart of many re­gional towns, none more so than Nyabing.

The Nyabing branch cel­e­brated its 85th year at the week­end with more than 50 guests join­ing in cel­e­bra­tions on Satur­day, May 26.

Branch pres­i­dent Alyson Cooper ex­tended a wel­come to mem­bers and guests in­clud­ing CWA of WA state pres­i­dent Heather Allen, Roe MLA Peter Run­dle and CWA state man­age­ment com­mit­tee rep­re­sen­ta­tive Mar­garet Rud­wick.

Greet­ings were given from branches Tam­bellup, Broome­hill, Min­genew, Al­bany, Stir­lings and Perth Belles, with cards re­ceived from many for­mer mem­bers who were un­able to at­tend the day in per­son.

For­mer mem­bers of Nyabing CWA Branch gath­ered for the an­niver­sary.
