Car­ni­val brings out best in com­peti­tors

Eleven records were bro­ken dur­ing East Nar­ro­gin Pri­mary School’s fac­tion ath­let­ics car­ni­val at Thomas Hogg oval last Thurs­day.

Mau­rice Ugle was crowned Year 6 cham­pion boy and Mitchell Cot­ton was run­ner-up.

Taya Gar­lett and Alma Bur­ton fin­ished Year 6 girls cham­pion and run­ner-up re­spec­tively.

Max Slaw­in­ski fin­ished just in front of John Ri­ley to claim the Year 5 cham­pion boy medal, while Jai Harcourt was Year 5 cham­pion girl and Mar­jorie Ugle run­ner-up.

Martin Ri­ley was Year 4 cham­pion boy ahead of Trevor East­wood by a sin­gle point and Kayleigh Drage was cham­pion girl and Is­abella Budby run­nerup.
