Albany pocket Classic victory
The Annual Narrogin and District 8 Ball Association Narrogin Classic was held at the Cuballing Tavern last weekend.
This is a competition between the Narrogin, Albany and Katanning eight ball associations.
Each association has two teams of five players, who play a full roundrobin competition between the teams.
Each round includes three games of singles for every player.
After 225 games of eight ball, the winners were decided.
Many of these games came down to a one-ball win or a black ball win. Congratulations to Albany 1, who went through the weekend undefeated.
The following players were awarded top percentage for their associations: Kyra Rikys 66.6 per cent (Narrogin), Jamie Wilkinson 93.3 per cent and George Ninte 93.3 per cent (Albany) and David Chillcott 80 per cent (Katanning).
A big thank you Brian and Donna Harvison for hosting the event.
The food and customer service was excellent over the whole weekend.
The next Classic is in Albany on February 2 and 3 next year.
Narrogin Classic competitors David Chilcott, of Katanning, Jamie Wilkinson and George Ninte, of Albany, and Kyra Rikys, of Narrogin, were awarded top percentage for their associations.
