Wil­liams’ Gil­lett rips through Har­ri­smith

Reign­ing pre­miers Har­ri­smith­were bowled out for un­der a hun­dred against Wil­liams as Rodger Gil­lett ter­rorised their bats­men, tak­ing 4-10 off eight overs.

Bat­ting first, Wil­liams open­ers Kim Rin­toul (17) and Robert Rose (20) started strongly for the home side, be­fore both were dis­missed by Dan Bay­ley.

Rod­ney Ford (50) and Toby Laven­der (25) con­tin­ued the mo­men­tum, how­ever Mathew Or­chard col­lected both of their wick­ets and fin­ished with 3-28 off 10 overs for the day.

Wil­liams set Har­ri­smith a tar­get of 156, fin­ish­ing on 7-155 off 45 overs.

But Har­ri­smith crum­bled to Wil­liams’ at­tack, bowled out for 95 in 30 overs.

Ar­ron Quar­ter­maine (23) and Adam Gray (16) were Har­ri­smith’s best con­trib­u­tors.
