Bowl­ing at­tack gives Wan­der­ing a boost

Wan­der­ing will be full of con­fi­dence re­turn­ing from the mid­sea­son break, af­ter dis­man­tling Cuballing’s bat­ting or­der with seven in­di­vid­ual wicket tak­ers in round nine.

Bat­ting first at home, Wan­der­ing posted a for­mi­da­ble 7-223 off the back of im­pres­sive knocks from open­ers Lewis Par­sons (48) and Lin­coln Joy (46).

Com­ing in at No.3 af­ter the dis­missal of Joy, Ben Sherry con­tin­ued the open­ers’ good work, post­ing an­other 91 runs to the score­card. Roger Bal­lard col­lected four wick­ets for Cuballing.

Wan­der­ing used a nine-man bowl­ing at­tack to re­duce Cuballing to all out for 136 af­ter 43 overs.

Bryan Hardie claimed 3-11 runs for Wan­der­ing.

In­di­vid­ual re­sults were not avail­able for Cuballing bats­men.
