Thieves take valued chairs

Narrogin Observer - - News - Michael Traill

A Narrogin household was left devastated by a burglary days before Christmas, as thieves stole electronics and family heirlooms.

Social media users rallied behind Sharon Patane who took to Facebook asking for help to track down those responsible.

“Hello I need your help . . . just before Christmas our house in Narrogin got broken into, they stole our TV and stereo but worse than that they stole our barber chairs, they are from America from the year 1840,” she wrote.

“They are hugely sentimental to us and we would really like to get them back, they are cast iron and wood with maroon leather on the seats. If anybody sees them could you please either let me know or to contact the police.”

As of Tuesday morning Ms Patane’s post had been shared more than 6800 times throughout WA and even as far as NSW.

Ms Patane was contacted for comment.
