Founder, Un­block un­block.net I used to mul­ti­task. I used to pro­cras­ti­nate. I used to check my email ev­ery two min­utes in­stead of be­ing fo­cused on my work. I used to browse end­less streams of de­signer news, prod­uct hunts, Twit­ters and In­sta­grams. And I used to feel guilty about it all. Thanks to ap­ply­ing some ba­sic mind­ful­ness tech­niques (like fo­cus­ing on my breath, which started to re­veal my think­ing pat­terns), I man­aged to un­cover my deep-rooted anx­i­ety and to be­come friends with it. Two mind­ful­ness apps that I’ve found very help­ful have been Headspace ( headspace.

com) and Plum Vil­lage ( plumvil­lage.app; full dis­clo­sure – I’m work­ing on this one).
