asey Donovan has unveiled her amazing new body after dropping an astounding 25kg. The much-loved I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! winner proudly showed off her slender new physique at the Ace Awards in Sydney last week, wowing with a sexy figure-hugging frock that left little to the imagination.

Before going on the reality TV show, Casey revealed she was hoping the stint would help her get her health back on track and lose 50kg.

She revealed she’d shed 17kg during her time in the jungle – and is believed to have gone on to drop another 8kg since leaving the show.

‘Casey is in the best shape of her life and is really committed to losing even more weight,’ a friend of the singer reveals.

‘She was so proud to show off her body at the Ace Awards – it was the first time in a long time that she put on some heels and a frock and felt good.’

Her killer new body was met with a wave of support from her thousands of fans, who took to Instagram to congratulate Casey on her amazing slimdown.

‘Gorgeous!!!! You look amazing!’ wrote one, while another commented: ‘Wow! Looking fabulous!’

Friends of the singer reveal she’s continued to drop kilos since leaving I’m A Celeb by preparing kilojoule-controlled, small-portion meals – which she frequently photographs and shares on social media – and following a hardcore exercise regimen.

Casey is said to have been inspired by her I’m A Celeb cast-mate, fitness coach Lisa Curry, who encouraged Casey to exercise during their stint on the show, and has since offered to mentor her through her

post-show weight-loss journey.

After one intense workout at ‘Lisa Curry’s Jungle Gym’, Casey told viewers the sweat session was ‘a shock to the system, let’s just say that’ – but she’s obviously been inspired to continue with Olympian Lisa’s workout of sit-ups, push-ups and squats.

It’s an amazing success story for the Australian Idol winner, who’s long battled yoyo dieting and has spoken openly about her weight hell.

‘My name is Casey Donovan and I am morbidly obese,’ the 28-year-old revealed on her blog last year.

‘I don’t want [to] live like this anymore! I don’t want to dig myself an early grave when the one thing I fear in life is death.’

After one visit to the doctor, where she learnt her weight had hit 148kg, the singer wrote: ‘No point in lying to myself, that is f****** disgusting! I spent a good hour or so being angry at myself and letting my ego have a field day with the delightful news, but on the plus side... At least I know where I stand with my life and the choices I need/have to make to get me to a better, healthier me.’

In an emotional post on her personal blog, Casey spoke of her body demons – and her poor choices when it comes to diet.

‘I eat crap foods when I have deprived myself of food for long periods of time. Sometimes I only have one or two meals a day,’ she wrote. ‘I drink far too much coffee and I have a tendency to eat at really odd hours because I don’t have a normal 9-5 working schedule.’ But before starting on I’m A Celeb, Casey made the brave decision to lose weight once and for all – realising that her health was too important. ‘My weight wasn’t put on overnight and I know it’s going to take some time (years even) to get my mind, body and soul into a good routine,’ she revealed in a blog post.

‘I just have to learn from my mistakes and not beat myself up too much over the little things, and remind myself that I am human and acknowledge the wrongs, and learn how to turn my wrongs into rights!’ NI
