Is Justin leaving the Bay?
HOME AND AWAY’S HEART-THROB FACES THE BIGGEST DECISION OF HIS LIFE
This week on Home And Away, Justin is caught between a rock and a hard place. The love of his life Phoebe (Isabella Giovinazzo) is about to watch all her dreams come true, as she embarks on her quest for musical stardom. While Justin (James Stewart) has agreed to follow her, he can’t shake off the niggling feeling this might be a mistake. Justin loves Phoebe and he loves their relationship, but there’s another girl in his life he needs to think about: his daughter Ava (Grace Thomas). Phoebe’s tour and musical career have come at a terrible time. Leaving the Bay will tear him away from Ava and he’s not sure he can bear that again. The last thing Justin wants is to be a deadbeat, absent dad. As their farewell party kicks off, Phoebe can’t ignore Justin’s obvious hesitation – she can clearly see the sadness in his eyes at the mere mention of Ava.
During the party at Salt, the Morgans, Kat (Pia Miller) and Ash (George Mason) give heart-warming farewell speeches, and Phoebe sings one last song.
Mid-song, Ava shows up. And while Justin is thrilled to see her, his heart is breaking. Ava takes the opportunity to give him a hug and calls him ‘Dad’ for the first time. When Phoebe witnesses this, she knows taking Justin away from her is the wrong decision.
When they get home, Phoebe confronts Justin about leaving Ava, saying he can’t do it – she’s too important. But before Phoebe can suggest they try the long-distance thing, Justin stops her. He’s made up his mind.
Confused and nervous, Phoebe waits with bated breath. Is their relationship going to survive this?
