KEITH’S ROMANTIC PROPOSAL ‘I DO... AGAIN!’

With their 12-year anniversary coming up this June, Nicole and Keith have one of Hollywood’s most enduring marriages.
And now, in a further gesture of love and commitment, Keith has proposed to his wife for a second time – presenting her with a stunning new emerald-cut engagement ring that’s worth a staggering half a million dollars!
Nicole has been recently spotted with the new ring on her finger, and the bling is a step up from the $50,000 ring Keith originally proposed with.
And of course, a new ring means a new wedding, with the couple keen to share their vow renewal with daughters Sunday Rose, nine, and Faith, seven.
‘The girls love looking through Nic and Keith’s wedding album, and they would love to be able to re-create a bit of the magic from the day to share with them,’ says a source.
‘While they are planning on a laid-back affair, it will also be super romantic and intimate.
‘At this stage, they’re looking to have the wedding on their farm in the NSW Southern Highlands. All their friends can come and stay, and they can spread the festivities over a few days. They’ll have the ceremony under Nicole’s favourite tree, then have a long lunch in the gardens with friends and family.
‘Nicole and Keith love the idea of having Sunday and Faith walk her down the aisle, and of course Keith is already penning a song for his bride. It will be a beautiful experience for all of them.’
It’s believed the lovebirds are planning their second wedding for later in the year, and it comes after a hectic two years in their marriage – which has been strained with long separations and hectic schedules.
‘When Keith got down on bended knee and proposed – again – it was with the promise of them both turning over a new leaf in their marriage,’ says a source close to the couple.
‘There’s no doubt that they absolutely love each other, but they’ve certainly been tested over the past few years.
‘As well as Keith doing his long Ripcord tour, which meant weeks and months away from Nicole, she was filming back-to-
back movies and TV series all around the world.
‘Added to that is all the jealousies that come with Nicole spending time with co-stars and Keith being fawned over by fans around the world.
‘So when Keith suggested they renew their vows, he said he wanted them to spend 2018 putting each other first and letting their careers take more of a back seat – which of course Nicole is keen to do.’
Indeed, the pair put on a very loving display when they enjoyed New Year’s Eve festivities in Nashville, giggling with one another and sharing playful touches as they were interviewed via satellite for the US’S big New Year’s Eve show in New York.
While Nicole hinted that Keith had dazzled her with amazing jewellery at Christmas, she didn’t elaborate on the proposal details.
‘They were flirting so much, it was great to see,’ says a pal. ‘It’s the start of a new era for them – they’re like newlyweds, and they’re loving it.’
With just hours to go until the beginning of 2018, the new queen drew gasps from the waiting crowd as she made her entrance.
Looking breathtakingly regal in a stunning royal red gown, adorned with jewels and topped with a two-century-old tiara, Crown Princess Mary and a bemedalled Prince Frederik had never looked more ready to take on the titles of King and Queen of Denmark.
Making her way into the annual New Year’s banquet at Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen, Mary looked as poised as ever. Despite the nearly 15,000km dash across the globe following the family’s Australian Christmas holiday, the Tasmanian-born beauty had been determined to enjoy one last trip to her home country before taking on her new role.
Danish publication Taet Paa states that while Frederik, who is turning 50 later this year, and Mary, 45, will not take on the official title of King and Queen in 2018, they are set to take on the power and respect that comes with the title.
However, many believe that the royal couple’s grand New Year’s Eve appearance was an unofficial coronation.
And following months of speculation, Queen Margrethe, 77, appeared to signal in her

annual New Year’s Eve speech the possibility that she is set to abdicate and leave the throne to her eldest son and his Aussie wife.
‘Life goes up and down. The most important thing is that we have people who are close to us,’ she said.
‘Therefore, I send my New Year greetings here tonight to all those who have experienced hard times in the old year and to each and every one who must sit alone.’
Abdication rumours first began to swirl last March when the Danish government hosted a mystery dinner.
It has indeed been a tough year for the Danish monarch – and Queen Margrethe mentioned her husband, Prince Henrik’s sad dementia diagnosis in her address.
‘In some ways, this has not been an easy year for my family and me. Therefore, we have been deeply touched by the sympathy and understanding extended to Prince Henrik by so very many people. We are very grateful for that. It makes everyday life easier for all of us.’
And Margrethe’s ominous speech certainly seems to tie in with mounting speculation that the once stoic Queen is set to hand over her responsibilities to Fred and Mary.
As the pair continue to increase their royal duties, it’s only a matter of time before they officially become king and queen.
