IT WAS ALL GLITZ AND GLAM WHEN REALITY TV STARS SARAH MARIE AND MATTY GOT HITCHED
Googlebox faves Sarah Marie and Matty Fahd have pulled themselves away from the telly to tie the knot!
Saying their ‘I dos’ in front of friends and family in Sydney, the couple celebrated in style with a lavish reception at Jones Bay Wharf’s Doltone House.
‘Yesterday we said “I Do Forever” and it was the best day of our lives,’ posted the couple on social media.
While Sarah Marie sported an intricate gown by celebrity designer Steven Khalil, the couple managed to add even more star power to their big day by playing a personal video message from Hollywood A-listers Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler!
And while the guests were no doubt wowed by the glitz and glamour of the day, no-one was more thrilled for the couple than their Gogglebox sidekick Jad, who posted a photo of the newlyweds on Instagram, along with the caption: ‘CONGRATULATIONS YOU LOVE BIRDS.’
With celebrations now over, the couple have begun their married life with a minimoon in Port Douglas, before a full-blown honeymoon in Europe later this year.
‘We are going to do Port Douglas mini-moon... get back and then we wait till mid July and we’re going to Europe. Amalfi coast... probably do a little bit of Greece, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Prague, Turkey. We might drop off in Lebanon on the way through and go visit my brother in Dubai as well,’ reveals Matty of the epic holiday.
And after the pair are done wearing out their passports, Gogglebox fans can expect to see a new star join the couple and Jad on the couch.
‘The mini-moon you practise for the baby, the big one you try to have the baby!’ says Sarah Marie.
For now though, it seems the pair are keen to just enjoy being husband and wife.
‘You Sarah, you are my fire and you light up my f****** life,’ posted Matty on social media, along with a photo of his stunning bride.
And luckily, the feeling seems to be mutual!
