SUITS STAR TELLS ‘PRINCE HARRY IS THE LUCKY ONE’
Meghan Markle might seem like the luckiest girl in the world, marrying Prince Harry in a fairytale wedding. But, her Suits co-star Amanda Schull says that Prince Harry is the lucky one.
‘I’m so thrilled for both of them,’ she tells New Idea. ‘I don’t know [Harry] personally, but he’s a very lucky man to have Meghan in his life because I can only say wonderful things about her. I think the world of her.’
And, Meghan is also a fan of the actress. ‘I have been in love with Amanda Schull since she was in Center Stage,’ the former actress wrote on her Instagram.
Now that Meghan has left her role as Rachel Zane on the hit show Suits to embark on her new life as a royal, fans will be hoping to see Amanda reprise her role as Katrina.
‘I hope so, too,’ spills Amanda. ‘I don’t know what Aaron Korsh and the wonderful writers have in store for Katrina, but I hope to be back.’
In the meantime, Amanda has been busy filming the sci-fi television series 12 Monkeys.
Based on the Bruce Willis film of the same name, scavenger James Cole (Aaron Stanford) is sent through time to enlist the help of virologist Cassandra (Amanda) to prevent the release of a deadly virus that resulted in the death of 7 billion humans and stop the organisation known as the Army of the 12 Monkeys.
‘I think that [the show] has kept people on the edges of their seats for the last few seasons because you don’t know what you’re going to get, and of course with the time travel you never know where they’re going to end up,’ Amanda reveals.
‘In this third and fourth season, we’re going to time travel to new places and we’re going to have some wonderful guest stars,’ she adds.
Amanda has a special connection to Australia, as her husband George Wilson is from Down Under.
‘Not everybody knows that,’ she admits.
And, while Amanda doesn’t get back to Oz as much as she would like, she loves visiting. ‘It’s beautiful,’ she gushes. ‘I haven’t met an Australian without a great sense of humour. That’s something I really appreciate about your country.’
