Shane Warne and Liz Hurley sparked rumours of a reunion as the cricket star wished his ex-fiancee a happy birthday on Instagram last week.
The 48-year-old posted a picture of Liz, referring to her as a ‘close and very dear friend’, alongside a big red heart and pair of lips – suggesting the tribute was a little more than just friendly.
Shane was engaged to Liz for three years before they split in 2013, and has said that when they first met, ‘they hit it off straight away. Fell in love, got engaged’.
He later admitted that he broke up with the 53-yearold model because he is a ‘knockabout Aussie’ and she’s an ‘English Rose’.
They have remained friends ever since, with neither of them finding a suitable partner to settle down with.
Could their love be reignited once more?
