After a few tumultuous months, it seems things are finally turning around for I’m A Celebrity star Tziporah Malkah. In steamy new photos acquired exclusively by New Idea, the 44-year-old is pictured locking lips with a handsome new man named Justin outside a Sydney restaurant. It seems Tziporah has moved on from her troubled relationship with Guy Vasey, which came to an end at the beginning of the year. While James Packer’s former fiancee looks happier than ever in the shock new pics, Tziporah is keeping mum on how serious the new romance is. When contacted by New Idea, the former model was unwilling to say much about her new admirer.
‘He’s a very nice person – but I’m not sure where it’s going, and besides, he’s a private person,’ the celebrity tells New Idea.
‘We’ve just been having a great time. I enjoy spending time with someone else a little older than me. Who, like me, is interested in talking about the homeless situation in Australia – and also about refugees, which is a growing interest of mine.’
Told she’d been photographed kissing him outside Middle Eastern-themed Darlinghurst restaurant Almond Bar, Tziporah played down the evening, which appears to have been a secret date.
‘Oh, I was just out with a group of friends,’ she says.
‘Don’t read too much into it all! Though I’m hardly drinking these days, this particular night I let my hair down, just a little.’
Even so, it’s clearly a happier time for the star, on the back of a turbulent start to her year. After being convicted of driving offences in January and losing her license, she later split up with live-in partner Guy, the childhood sweetheart with whom she’d reunited and moved to Port Elliot in South Australia.
In May, she was fined $1200 after pleading guilty to assault, then moved back to Sydney, the city where she’d once been famous as a top model and fiancee to billionare James.
‘Tziporah’s been through so much in recent times and it’s just so nice to see a sparkle back in her eye now she’s settling back into Sydney and reconnecting with old pals,’ a friend tells New Idea.
‘There’s so much more to her than people often give her credit for. Who else in Sydney’s eastern suburbs gives a rat’s a*** about homeless women and the world’s refugee crisis?’
Adds the friend: ‘She’s keeping her cards to her chest about this new guy. We just know he’s called Justin, she’s saying nothing about him to anyone, but we’re all hoping he appreciates what a gem he has in Tziporah. It’s high time she had love in her life again.’
Guy, meanwhile, has relocated to Melbourne where it’s believed he has a new girlfriend.
