Sunrise co-host Natalie Barr reveals the Carols in the Domain behind the scenes goings on.

“When we host Carols and stand backstage, it’s almost tear-jerking. We all stand there in silence and watch those singers sing those stirring carols and it’s spine-tingling, even today,” she explains. “I love that Carols brings family together. It’s such a simple thing, people singing – singing these carols that are all these years old and we all know some of the words. It’s such a simple thing to be in front of the TV or there, in the Domain, in Australia, pulling your family together. It’s something easy that everyone can do. It reminds you that, whatever type of year you’ve had, whatever your situation is, you can sit there and you can take a break for a night or for an hour, and it can make you think of family or something a bit better for a while. That’s what I love about it.”
