Reading your cover story “It’s Over – George & Amal Divorce Shock!” (NI Nov. 12), it’s not surprising that speculation is mounting that their marriage could be in trouble. This famous couple may have all the wealth and prestige in the world but being apart for 87 days because of their careers can’t help. Marital problems are bound to happen. But George and Amal are wise and sensible people and know how to preserve their healthy relationship. Amal, the human rights lawyer, is a loving mum as she protectively dotes on her 16-month-old twins Alexander and Ella, and George is the loving husband and father, so it would be a shame if their marriage collapsed.
