These outspoken brothers get on like a house on fire in the kitchen, but only one can cook! “I started cooking about a month before we found out we’re going on the show,” admits Austin, 21. But Josh, 25, who started cooking at 12 years old, says you shouldn’t underestim­ate his brother.“he is a quick learner so watch out!”

AMANDA & BLAKE BROTHER AND SISTER, WA

Growing up together, these siblings credit their cooking skills to helping out in the kitchen at home. “We have learned a lot by trial and error cooking at home,” shares Blake, 32. While they are ready to have some fun in the kitchen, Amanda, 29, admits she has her eyes on the prize. “I am not here to make friends,” she says.

MICK & JODIEANNE HUBBY AND WIFE, VIC

After 16 years of marriage, Mick and Jodie-anne have plenty of practice cooking together. “It’s something we have always done together ever since we first started dating. Usually enjoying beer or wine at the same time,” laughs JodieAnne, 49, who started cooking at 8 years old. As for when Mick, 47, learnt to cook he says: “When I met Jodie-anne!”

ANDY & RUBY PASSIONATE PERUVIANS, QLD

Fiery friends Andy and Ruby plan to show Australia what real Peruvian food is. “We signed up because we want to put Peru on the map,” says Andy, 31. “A lot of Aussies are still very unfamiliar with Peruvian cuisine so we want to be able to showcase how amazing our food is.” Ruby, 39, adds: “We are going to bring that Latin fire to the competitio­n.”

It’s time to get out the bubbly because Australia’s most beloved cooking show, My Kitchen Rules, is celebratin­g its landmark 10th Season. This year will see the teams serve up a record number of perfect scores, as they face fresh and exciting challenges and never-before-seen locations.

STACEY & ASH RECENTLY ENGAGED, NSW

Don’t be fooled by these Byron Bay lovebirds’ laid-back attitude. “We can have fun and keep everything light but knuckle down and get the job done when needs be,” says Stacey, 27. “We work well in the kitchen together,” adds Ash, 34. “And always have each other’s backs!”

IBBY & ROMEL SOCIALITES, NSW

Dynamic duo Ibby and Romel are planning to raise the bar this season. “We will work harder than you can imagine and give this competitio­n our heart and soul,” says Ibby, 30. As for their fellow competitor­s, outgoing Romel, 42, isn’t afraid to share his thoughts. “I am not shy to speak my mind and put people in check,” he says.

KARITO & IAN MARRIED COUPLE, WA

Perth couple Karito, 33, and Ian, 37, are set to spice up the kitchen with their dance moves. “We always have fun and even dance while we cook,” reveals Karito, who learnt to cook from her grandma. “We both believe that to make food taste extra delicious you need to put your heart into it and have fun while cooking.”

CHRIS & LESLEY FLIGHT ATTENDANTS, QLD

These Queensland colleagues ooze confidence. “I wouldn’t be here believing I could win if I thought I had big weaknesses,” selfconfes­sed show-off Chris, 57, admits. As for what Lesley, 50, will bring to the competitio­n: “style, grace, class, a true team spirit,” she reveals.
