Samuel and Arthur Chatto
With their tens of thousands of Instagram followers, the Queen’s great-nephews – sons of Lady Sarah Chatto and husband Daniel – are modernising the royal family.
Following in the footsteps of his late grandfather Lord Snowdon, Sam, 22, is the more artistic while Arthur,19, is a muscular hunk who attracted admiring comments when he posed for a photo in his Calvin Klein undies.
Phil says: “This has always been the Bohemian side of the family and the Queen is used to such goings on because her sister Princess Margaret, the boys’ grandmother, was unconventional herself. Sam and Arthur are thoroughly modern in that they live their lives through social media.”
Sam follows his dad Daniel Chatto, who is an artist, while Arthur has ambitions to join the army. The bad news for their female admirers at the moment is that both have girlfriends.
“When Arthur revealed he was seeing fellow student Lizzie Friend several girls posted words like ‘jealous’ and ‘heartbroken’.
“They are becoming so well known that there are even spoof social media accounts on Twitter, which could cause a problem.”
