When I make couscous it’s always stuck together in a clump. What am I doing wrong? SIMON, VIA EMAIL

Place couscous in a heatproof bowl. Pour over boiling water. Stir to combine. Cover with plastic wrap and stand for 5 minutes (for every 1 cup couscous, use ¾ cup boiling water). Carefully remove plastic wrap, fluff up couscous with a fork. Serve warm or cold.
